Are you looking for a way to spread holiday cheer?

This holiday season, your donation starting at $5 can give a child a brand new book to keep and a memorable experience

BKPNY has the perfect idea: Help us raise funds to bring a holiday package to 100 kids and their community.

Make a tax-deductible donation of any amount towards a holiday book gifting program, from $5 to $50 to whatever amount you are comfortable with.

The package includes 100 storybooks for distribution to 100 children, plus face painting, goodie bags, author reading, games and prizes.

The package also includes 75 reference and story books which will go the public school library.

The book gifting program is a fun event that introduces and motivates children to read, both for its educational and entertainment value.

Giving a child a book to keep:

- helps extend the experience of reading to a child's home and community: books can be shared with siblings, parents and neighbors

- broadens the utility of reading beyond the school.

- promotes learning, volunteering and community building.

Make your 100% tax deductible donation now.

Nov
18

Last week, November 9, 10 and 11, three more elementary schools in Los Banos received books thanks to BKPNY supporters. The books were handed over through the office of BKPNY community partner, Los Banos Vice Mayor Joks Sumangil. Of the three schools, Los Banos Central School located in Baranggay Timugan, serves the most students, with over 1,700 enrollees. Lalakay Elementary School has 500 students and Maahas Elementary School serves over 700 children.

A literacy training is being planned for next year, in cooperation with the Vice Mayor's Office and the UP Agribusiness Society.

If you would like to help out with our Los Banos projects as a volunteer, donor or a book collection partner, please email info@bkpny.org.
